This case went into appeal and the applicants appeal was accepted, the gery's sent us a letter to submit the applicants passports for visa. We have not recieved any information about whats happening since the date we gave the passports. We tried contacting relevent people but, they advised us to e-mail your selves.e
We have heard that all the applications which were accepted for visa in april have now expired the time limit....as the passports were lost at dubai! I just want to know that if this is true or not.

I applied for visa on 04.08.09 for my post graduate surgery exam which was on 28.09.09.Exam date passed I did not recevived passport.Then I applied for with drawal on 06.10.09 which was approved at Abudhabi and advised Islamabad embessy to return passport but stil I have not received passport even I have no idea when I will get it.Million email to evevry one but reply is pretyped one follow web tracking which has shown no change since 04.08.09.please help me.

I applied for UK Student Visa on 2nd July which was initially refused and then was restored after Admin Review Request on 17th Sept. I resubmitted passport and other required documents on 7th Oct at VAC Karachi and still waiting. My Phd programme has already started from 15 Nov at Heriot-Watt Uni Edinburgh UK. Intrestingly my dependents have been issued visas. Please help because Heriot-Watt has set 12th Dec as deadline and thereafter they would cancel my Phd admission and funding.

I applied for a PBS dependent visa for me and my son. I got my visa but my infant son was refused. I have appealed against the decision and it has been 3 months. I have yet received no reply from the embassy regarding the review. It is unbelievable the amount of time the embassy is taking for a simple review. They themselves said they'll sort it out with in three months MAXIMUM. I am disappointed in the review system carried out by the british embassy as it takes un-necessarily more time than it is required. I would really like for the embassy to please work on this and prevent people like me to go through mental distress and pain.

The appeal has been decided in my favour in September two thousand seven and I received a copy of the Tribunal's determination of the above appeal. I approached the Office of the British Deputy High Commission, Karachi, wherein I have been informed they will inform me as soon as they receive their copy of Tribunal's determination of the above appeal from the home office. Lapsing of thirty months no response has been given. Due to this act i am in great hasitation to make future planning for me and my family.

I am writing to say that I send three applications for the renewal of British passport on the date twenty of September by T.C.S.Then on Monday the twenty seven of september I got a phone call from the high commission for some more photos of my son which I sent of the same day by T.C.S again.
I phoned on Wednesday than again on Friday to asked how many more days will it take, for which I have been told 10 working days starting from the four October, You have already taken forteen days.

Now i want to tell to all of you that i submitted my application on twenty eight-April in A-rated college (UK) from Pakistan i also attend my interview on five-Sept and today is twenty-Sept almost five months completed still waiting for my visa which is very bad for me as well as for all of you because UKBA is still working very slow. so, i advice to the new students that before submitting your application keep in mind that it might be take unlimited time to process.

I applied for my British passport to be renewed in July, which was six months ago. To date I have received no response whatsoever let alone my new passport. Yet they claim the process is 'straightforward'. I am writing this so that the readers are aware of how inefficient the current passport renewal process is. If the BHC really does read these comments too and someone at the embassy can look into this matter and resolve it asap then all well and good. Otherwise, I will seek other avenues for publicising and for resolution.
