@833.Shab: Please don't try to confuse yourself. BA is an academic degree whereas B.Ed is professional degree. If you want to enhance ur educational qualification by doing ur M.A in any subject of ur choice, u can do. If u r in profession of education u may enhance ur qualification by doing ur M.Ed. Now AIOU has started one year program.

dear all..i,m student of bsc electrical technology... is it valid degree for admisson in msc engineering program in pak or in foreign countries like sweden germany australia etc

I want to ask, whether it is possible to take admission in Ma in another subject on the basis of b.s 4 year degree instead of Ba?. I feel necessity of inquiring this because in current situation most of the students are studying in b.s 4 year program. some of the students after completing their degree want to take admission in Ma due to specific reasons. As previously multi degrees in Ma could be hold on the basis of the same Ba degree. but in the case of B.s there is no place for 2 year bachelor program and graduation is completed in 4 year... So it is difficult for b.s students to retake admission in Ba for carrying out Ma in another program and takes too much time.... please do reply......

@963.Jamil Ejaz: As I know, they don't even consider B.Com equivalent to simple B.A. Once one of my students, tried to get admission in B.Ed. They refused because she had a degree of B.Com. (Not a simple B.A. Loooolz).

Hello , I have done Matric and Intermediate exams in India with my maiden name, after my marriage and up on arriving pakistan my name has changed. After numerous visit to Karachi university for changing my name, i was asked to puplish my current name in the gazzete of pakistan and in newspaper, which i did and completed B.A, M.A, B.Ed and M.Ed with my new/ current name. The HEC does not cater to my need of getting 16 years of education for my MSELM at Szabist. We need to submit our equivalancy by end of July. but the officials at the HEC karachidoes not talk or suggest anything and asked me to contact the Islamabad HEC. Nobody from Islamabad picks the telephone or answered my email.I am old and my parents are died now and i cannot go to india to change my current name in my matric and inter certificates. I only want to study, so help me in getting the degree equivalancy.
