information about passport a)TYPES OF PASSPORT FOR CITIZENS : NORMAL and URGENT NORMAL = this type of passport is processed normalally in twelve days. it can take three to four days extra due to posting problems to islamabad or any technical problem in islamabad office system. URGENT = this type of passport is processed in just seven days after submitting the form. other wise there is no difference between both types of passport b)FEES : NORMAL = two thousands URGENT = four thousand and one hundred c)DOCUMENTS REQUIRED : a copy of your father's ID card a copy of your mother's ID card a copy of your ID card and your original ID card. d)PROCEDURE : first of all get a form to submit your fee in bank.(remember if u want urgent passport then get urgent passport's form (red colour) and if u want normal passport then get normal passport's form (white colour) fill this form according to your id card's data write the amount of fee to ba payed and submit it in the related bank (NBP). after submitting fee the bank will cut ur form in pieces they will keep one and give u the ur copy and passport office's copy. attach copy of ur id card ur father,s id card and ur mother,s card with passport office's copy and go to passport office's tokken counter. show him these documents and he will give u a token. a token number ur name father,s name will be written on this token. now sit there and wait for ur token number. when ur token number is displayed on screen or it is being called by an officer go to that counter. the sequence is first go for thumb impression (bio-metric data) then to photograph counter then data counter and then for a short interview. be prepared for ur photo when u go for ur passport. THUMB IMPRESSION = here an officer will take your thumb impression on an electronic impression reading machine.(on ur turn just go to him and show him ur documents and ur original id card then he will process if u dont have ur original id card he will not process anything.) PHOTOGRAPH = here an officer will take ur exact photograph with ur full face and upper side of shoulders.(on ur turn go and show ur documents and ur original id card if u dont hav ur original id card he will not process any thing) DATA = here an officer will write ur data on computer acording to ur original id card which will be displayed on ur passport. (on ur turn go and show him ur documents and ur original id card if u dont hav ur original id card he will not process anything) after submitting data according to ur id card he will give u a form written all your data on it and and will attach all ur documents with this. INTERVIEW : go to interview counter with ur form and documents and original id card and give all these documents to interview officer (deputy director of office) he will see ur documents and form and id card and will verify ur form and its all over. u r done. (dont forget to take ur original id card and token back from interview officer) COLLECTION : after related period of time go to passport office and collect ur passport after showing ur token and he will take ur one more thumb impression on his electronic machine. and after that he will give u ur passport. it,s all yours. now go and get ur visa on it (dont forget to sign on second page of ur passport before applying for visa.) if u like and appreciate this blog than do write ur thoughts on the same site.

Dear Mr. Ashfaq, your daughter cannot travel to us with pakistani passport as it needs us visa but can travel to US with US passport. By the way everything for your daughter you can get from pakistani embassy in the us. check there website or visit if there is a pakistani consulate in your city in Chicago we have one.

Sir, Last Saturday I visit Passport Office in Gujranwala.Actually I want to make new Passport so when i reach the passport Office.I just want Tokken.I already submit my Fee of Urgent Passport.We get Tokken Free.But More then 20 Persons Stand in the line of get tokken to enter the office.and they say us If u give seven hundred RS U will get passport Otherwise U Never get passport.i Ignore him.the line was so long.more then ten peoples stand on the line.was the agent Peoples.so they ask if u get the one,two,three...Number so give us three hundred.. AOA sir i hav some problems i already had a MRP which was lost then i got a new one with the same number but last word was 2 (example abbmkfjb) instead of 1 (abbmkbja) unfortunately the second passport too was robbed by someone with my hand bag when i was going back after meeting a consultant.then i again got a new one and this time the last word was 3 (abbmkfjc) instead of 2(abbmkfjb). again it was my bad luck tha it also was robbed by my relatives (enemies) (they used a professional to do so) now i want to get a fresh passport with a new number (example acbmkfja) bcoz if i get with the same serial continuing it would b difficult for me to apply for UK. is there any solution of my problem please tell me i have to enroll in next semester in UK. Dear All, I would like to share with all the followings: 1.M/s: NADRA should review the procedures, if there is urgent fee requirement then there should be few days� (2 to 3 working days) time for the urgent requirement. 2.What ever the committed days (8 to 10 working days or 20 days) are mentioned as per paid fee (urgent /normal), the delivery must be within those days. 3.In case if there are any amendments in M/S: NADRA policy, this is M/s: NADRA liabilities to inform all the union council offices and all the union council have to assure them that they will strictly follow. I would be appreciate if M/s: review the above.
