Dr Umer, My wife is 40 years having metastatic CA of breast spread to her bones at various locations as per diagnosis and reports. She is still under treatment at AKU with Oncologist since last 2 years. Besides other problems, she has been suffering severe pain in her left leg and is unable to walk. The pain worsen when she tries to walk, hence she is mostly on bed since last 3 months. All pain medication did a little and temporary relief. I have been diagnosed with osteod osteoma in the neck of the femur after T-9 bone scan in AKUH.My doctor Imtiaz hashmi has suggested me to go for RFA.I am suffering from this pain for more than 2yrs now and the pain is worst at nights.I am confused and want a suggestion from Dr Masood Umer on this issue and suggest a good doctor for RFA or any other options for this.I hope u reply soon .
