Your response was so far balanced but you missed the point under discussion. Quake doctors matter was not under discussion. Question is about the greed, cruelty, lack of huminity and professionalism among qualified doctors and hospitals. Hospitals and doctors have become horrible that they have lost their nobility. I came accross several horrible situations in Karachi at hospitals like Agha Khan, Liaquat National and with specialists is surgery, Opthomologists etc that made me miserable and that they were worst than quacks. Dear Doctors & PMA (need your help) What kind of action you can take aganist SHAN HOSPITAL, NIPA. There act of negligence resulted into the death of my sister in law. The extreme of the situation is that they off set all advance deposit by making wrong bills and fictitious doctor faisal's visits. ICU were being utilized for shooting a drama in the presence of patients fighting for their life. For the last eight months i personally have left no stone unturned to meet doctor Faisal (owner) but still donot have any response. I would like Dr Samrina Hashmi to post a brief on "Rights and responsibilities of Doctors who are doing HOUSE JOBS" in govt hospitals like JPMC and CHK. What are their working hours? I personally experienced that they are made to work for more than at a stretch. They have not been provided proper "Doctors room" where they can rest for a while nor they are allowed any time for lunch or dinner. Such long working hours tell upon their health and performance. Kindly do enlighten us on the subject. Also please state what PMA is doing for the welfare and protection of the rights of these trainee doctors especially female doctors who face numerous difficulties.

we are waiting since long when pma wake up & shows deep concern regarding day by day detoriation of health structure as health personels provide more service then any other dept but they get least incentive more over there is no clear policy about promotion,doctors are still in 17 grade since 87,91/93.doctors performing duty in casualty deptt,feel insecure. we hope pma take these issues seriously in near future. thanks

I am elder brother of Dr Imran Wasi, I would like to know about the progress in the murder case occurred in Layari. Further, what is your PMA's future course of action in this regard. Sadly, no one from the forum of PMA has made any contect to the family of Dr Imran Wasi. PMA is the only forum from where, a strong protest may be registered against this barbaric brutal act of Layari mafia which has crippled the life of all hard working medical professionals. My brother has lost his life in the presence of police mobile and armed police motor cycle riders arroud the murder spot, who gave complete protection and cover to safe exit of the killers. Since killers were not apprehended, these same killers have free license to kill more doctors like Dr Imran Wasi.

ONe of my friends donated blood at NBD National Institute of Blood Diseases & Bone Marrow Transformation and they reported that I have Hepatitis C, so I can not donate. I was shocked and my family also. We had nowhere to go. Then we took a blood test at Aga Khan after some deliberation to be sure. Aga Khan reported that I am clean. I wrote to NBD, who replied that they are sorry and that such things happen. But you see I & my family was devastated for at least one month. I don't know how many people have suffered at their hands. What is to be done?

Can anyone from PMA guide me about CMEs required by PMDC for registration? I called PMDC Islamabad and they told me that i have to Submit Previous 5 year's CME as well as NEW 5 year's CMEs. I am unable to understand how can i submit OLD CMEs of last 5 years ? the Rule for CME submission was passed in 2012 and i am asked to submit CME certificates of 2011 and 2010 as well. I need a clear guidance, my PMDC registration expired on 31-dec-2014, i need to get my registration renewed for next 5 years. Thanks
